Bono's tune American Prayer has resurfaced recently. Originally penned by Bono and Dave Stewart in 2002, the track was subsequently performed by Bono and Beyoncé on Oprah, released as part of the 46664 concert in 2004, trotted out for the 2007 American Idol Gives Back special, and has now been recorded by Stewart and a collection of B-list celebrities for a single and video promoting the Barack Obama campaing.
