Heartland is a great song. I don't think Bono could hit the notes anymore though! I love Crumbs From Your Table. It's always been one of my favorites.

Heartland is one of my all time favorites, when I had first discovered it I used it to listen to it over and over and over again, couldn't get enough, and still can't! But you're probably right, it requires some powerful singing ("In this heaaaaaartlaaaaand!!!"  )
If God Will Send His Angels has some of the best lyrics, and the video is just awesome! I love the single version (the one used in the video) with the extra lyrics at the end ("And I don't have to know how..."), Bono sings them so beautifully

another great song is "a sort of a homecoming. i like the wide awake in america live version, bono's singing is so powerful there, i lsten to it over and over, sometimes i think it's the band's best song, it's just a brilliant song!

Silver and Gold and God Part II, both fantastic (I always see these two together). We really should talk about these two - I mean, maybe we could find reasons why we don't talk much about 'crumbs' but these two are top stuff!
BTW, was listening to God Part II earlier...the part that talks about the singer on the radio who said he's gonna kick the darkness till it bleeds daylight (wow!), does it refer to anyone in particular? Is this some famous quote that I don't know about or is just Bono being great?
