I went to the 2005- May 10th Vertigo Tour in Chicago's United Center and 2005-9-20 at Chicago's United Center as well.
Both were AMAZING. Both concerts I was in nose bleed seats, May 10th (Bono's bday) 3rd row from the tippy top all the way across from the stage. I sat with my sister (probably only knew the song Vertigo  ), my mom (has seen U2 like 5 times) and my aunt (2 times). I wore my moms Unforgettable Fire T-Shirt that she got when she went to their concert. I got a few funny looks from people saying "you aren't old enough to go to that concert." I also saw that exact t-shirt on sale at the merchandise store for $80!!!!!!!
Although we were all the way in the back, the concert was awesome. I almost cried when they came out. Before the concert my friend and I were sitting in Math class and had a countdown of how many hours till the concert and when it was about 1 PM we started singing the "wooooo...woooo" from Elevation...both got in trouble. haha
The second gig 9-20 I went with two friends, again in nose bleed seats to the right of Edge, all the way at the tippy top. We were closer than my first concert, but my first concert is something I'll never forget.
(wow i didn't anticipate this post being this long lol, oh well)

1.Hard to beat your first U2 concert being Zoo Tv so I'll go with St. Louis 9-20-92 but....
2.St. Louis 11-28-01 was a close second. My wife's first U2 show, post 9-11. Emotional night.
3.12-14-05 St. Louis again, I brought all of my converted U2 fans. Great show.

only attended one concert so far (unfortunately) - vertigo tour, gelsenkirchen (auf schalke) - 2005 - 6 - 12 an amazing show & a great experience! hope I'll see at least two concerts on the next tour.

Only been to one, Hatford CT, December 7, 2005. Up in the nosebleeds, but damn, they turned that place into a club. Bono and Edge chasing each other around the ellipse during UTEOTW was my favorite.
